while the movie incarnation is cool looking, nothing will come close to the fishbowl-headed original

been brainstorming some of my own properties recently, and this was one new brainstorm

with hellboy II coming up in a few days, figured i'd bring him around again.

erik larsen announced that he's going to step down as publisher (effectively EIC) of image to produce more comics

i can't believe it took me this long to get around to the bad doctor. he's like, the ultimate comic book bad guy. maniacal, murderous, and mellodramatic.

well, one more day, brand new day, whatever. he's still the freakin' coolest.

mysterio is another guy that would be awesome to have in the movies. some cool effects and stuff with the hallucinations would be so freakin' sweet...

i would love to see this guy in one of the movies. he could make a really cool, dangerous villain, more so than doctor octopus.

he's big, he's angry, he's russian (i think that's still his origin, right?) and he's horny. you may want to stay out of his way.

the much maligned old geezer of the spidey rogues, this guy gets dumped on all the time. if he were to become a true threat, he could be a much more interesting character.

since it's been a hard week, i'm doing a twofer to start up the spidey villain week... the shocker gets a bad rap - he's a freakin' cool villain. and not the ultimate version, either. the original quilted northern...

i realized that while i've been doing a lot of spidey, he's got one of the best rogue's galleries of any comic character ever created. so, i'm going to do a week of spidey villains.

haven't scribbled the savage dragon in a while. the request for star made me think about it...

i dunno... i think his neck looks a bit broken. or maybe that's his super-spider-flexibility powers...
