another favorite character - one that changed my perceptions of what a comic book could be, and entertained the hell out of me doing it.

i never cared for mike mignola's work until he was doing something he loved. his gaunt, minimalist style didn't fit the superheroes he was contracted to work on. it was only until he was working on his own creation that i realized the incredible talent that he brought to the table - but it was because he was doing something that meant something to him, i believe. well, enough prattle or else i won't make the deadline. here's my rendition of hellboy...
