the daily scribble

after watching two episodes of WWTBASH today, i was thinking about who i could be if i were to be on the show.

of course, i've got a bunch of my own characters, but none of them have much to do with who i am. while i don't identify myself as a commuting person, i do have a three-hour commute each day, so it applies. thus, i present THE COMMUTER!

he is the fastest speed-walker in the city. he can navigate his way through the city, knows the best route to anywhere, and can get to work on time no matter how late his train arrives at the terminal. he's always connected to the internet through his bluetooth earpiece or his blackberry or his satellite broadband. he can type 7000 words per minute while leading a conference call. he has a savvy "business sense" that will tell him if a deal is worth pursuing or not, and he has a magical briefcase that contains whatever he needs at any given time.

obviously the design is based on pulp heroes like "the spirit" and the like. mostly "the spirit".
