two'fer... um... sunday: abe sapien

since i skipped doing a sketch yesterday, i told myself i was going to do two today. drawing liz sherman inspired me to continue the theme.

abe sapien rocks. he's a man who was genetically mutated into a fish-man long before dolly the sheep, or the mice with ears cloned onto their backs. he was apparently successfully put into stasis on the day abraham lincoln was shot, hence the name "abe". the full-body drawing lacks a bit on this one, but i think the portrait at the bottom makes up for it. i wanted to do a bunch of different swimming shots of abe the same as i did with swinging spidey, but i didn't have the energy. i'll revisit that idea later on.
